Well since i've joined have been told there's quite a few UK Hambers on here - So... anyone from the Southeast like myself? I'm currently just outside Maidstone - hoping to find some locals to bounce ideas off as I get stuck on this first build..

Couple of us live in Belfast, I have two projects currently 55 pop and a 29 A - Pops nearly there still a while to go on the A. Cookie has I believe a 51 chevy which was a more door now a 2 door with a chopped top, again currently a project but hopefully it and the Pop may see the roads before the end of the year.

    53 Ford Anglia (gasser project)
55 Ford Popular (historic stock car project)
72 Vauxhal Ventora (in good shape)
72 Dodge Dart (new motor going in v. soon)
    72 Porsche 914 (restored)
    80 Pontiac Sunbird (cheesy)

Drop by some time for tea and biscuits ;-)

Love the T.. Have just started to build one myself (only just, am still collecting parts lol) - but my next will be an "A Sedan". Has always been my favourite model, will make my mistakes/learn with the T. :D

  18. Hi I.m an old timer from Stansted way. This is an addictive website.I got into hotrods in the 60.s "the gasser era" and its never got better than that.I.ve owned hotrods or yanks all me days.but at the moment have a run around 66 mustang fastback and a stone stock Thames van, that I want to build as a gasser.Thats when the boss and the wife give me 5 bloody minutes to do it.I had a gasser look model A for 22 years.I was going to start a thread so I.ll mention here instead that if any of the good old boys are coming to England let us know and we'll tell them whats on.We got The nationals, nostalgia drags,Goodwood and grand finals at Santa Pod still to come.I mention it because I went to the States last year and missed a bunch of stuff.Serves me right for letting her in of the doors arrange it!Keep on truckin' nick----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------O.K. Christine show me

I'm near Heathrow so not too far from you. Have a glass 32 5w on the go which has progressed a fair bit since the pic. Blown SBF/auto.
Also have a '68 435hp Vette/4spd/roadster which I've had in pieces for way too many years!

Strange that, Taildraggins next project (after the poncho) is a model A Sedan. We're going to be overrun with them :D :D
