Man, I cant believe its right around the corner. All you boys and girls still burning the midnight oil to get ready, better start humping. For Most of us, this Thursday or Friday, we will be on the road to Southern Ohio. I hope we fill up the joint and have a blast! Since all the Cinematic posts are not on the main Board. I thought I would use this as a reminder for those living in a cave. Whos going??
I'm going! Looks like this thing is shaping up to be pretty big. We have taken more preregs for this show than we have for any of our other shows - ever. It will be really interesting to see how many cars show up... Now, the one question I am asked most is - What movie is playing? I'd love to say, but my wife won't let me. I will say that while you might have seen this movie before, you haven't seen it in this setting in at least 25 or so years... It's going to be very very cool.
Looks like it's going to be a winner for sure. I know we've got a group from Indy that are pretty excited about it. Heck, we even got other folks hooking up with our convoy that's heading out next Friday. Going to be a really fun cruise down and show.
I'll be there saturday, well , if the radiator shop is telling me the truth. I painted the buick last night with a roller and rustoleum, looks like shit but at least it'll slow the rust down. Jerry
I'm getting pretty stoked myself. I've got a transporter bringing my car and I'm flying in to CAK airport. I'll Drive-In from there and hope to arrive around 5:00pm on friday. I'm looking forward to putting some faces with some names. Doc.
I think it's a pretty safe bet at this point that we will have well over 100 cars... Pretty amazing for a first year event.

Damn, 1982 was 25 years ago? That's amazing... So the movie was made long before that... LONG before that... but hasn't been seen at a drive-in in a really damn long time.

We will be bringing four cars alone. Maybe more! I would guess alot more than 100 cars there. I bet we have 300-400.
Rick, I just tore down the 57 tonight! 2" dropped axle, 4½" dropped mono up front and a 6" dropped mono for the rear. New king pins, tie rods, shackles, alignment, etc etc Man I got work to do........... But I'll be there! Later,Bill

I am pretty sure I can make it but my boss kicked me in the balls today. I have to go to Mexico on Sunday, and he said that I may not be back by Friday. Mind you I asked for a day of vacation almost a month ago, so this isn't new to his dumb ass. I'm crossing my fingers that I will be able to make it.
Oh sure, hide behind Marcie "the wife won't let me" you know you are loving the suspense !! So how are you going to let us know? Is it going to be on the big drive in sign as we pull in? Will we have to wait until Saturday to find out. We'll gang up on ya Friday night and get it out of ya !!
Clark, Like Bob K said, it is only 2 or 3 miles and there are so many of us staying at the same hotel you could just get between a couple of us and be fine. I would just be careful and not get between two of those Illinois guys! You know who I'm talking about!
Looks like I will be coming down solo. Grumpy won't be ready for the long trip yet and wants to be good to go for Columbus. Start my vacation on Friday morning. Any one coming from the east across I-80? Looking to hook up for the drive. Petejoe, when are you and Megan leaving from Canton?Would like to tag along.
