help identify this car

this is a friend of mines dad with his car. im trying to help him identify the car. i think its a volvo. any help with a positive id?

Volvo Amazon

 

Volvo had to drop the "Amazon" name early on due to a lawsuit from a German scooter company, but Amazon stuck as a nickname. You'll have better luck searching for them under their official name, the 122 or 122s. I can't tell the year from the pic, but they were virtually unchanged from 1956-1974.

 

It's a 121 alright, judging by the grill 61-64...
