Yup, he's from AZ. I've talked to him a couple of times. The 39 Chevy dwarf is as spot on as this 42 'vert. Said he made the Chevy from old refridgerators.

Thanks for the pics....looks like a nice show!
I'm really likin' the overall look of this sedan. Nice stance and color, very balanced.

This buttmunch almost took me out on my motorcycle yesterday afternoon heading east on Larpenter. Apparantly turn signals and mirrors are not that important to him.

If you're gonna dispense with the safety precautions, at least learn to drive appropriately.

  13. Alot of pics of that gold coupe...
and that's okay! The flathead in that thing sounds really sweet.
    Damn I dig that car.

Anybody have any more info on the patina'd '32 roadster in the first skyride pic? It had some aircraft style buckets, maybe homemade, with pinstriping on the back between the seats, and what looked like some real-deal timing plaques from el mirage, dated 1947. It even still had an unsplit wishbone up front. I don't know if it's a true survivor or not, but it truly nailed the look.

it was a fun weekend. that was my coupe in the 1st pics.

the 32 roadster is a fresh car built a year ago or so, but with all old parts, neat car.

That is a freind of mines car, Choped top and small mirrors makes for hard rear vision, you should know that.
Also the work that went into that car is top notch and thats why the price tag, you should have taken a close look at the details.

thats my buddies buick. we painted that car june 2006. and had it in minniapolis just in time for the show last year...we shot the whole roof in the black. then took 2 pieces of lace and stretched them over the roof.pulled it tight inside the car and shot the grey over it. let the grey sit for about 2 minutes then pulled it off and cleared the car...(the middle of the car are the edges of the lace)...sorry dont have any pics

Yup, that's it... I see quite a few of you got shots of it too. Anybody get to see what it had under the hood? I thought I saw a flathead thru the hood louvers but it was hard to see.
