Haven't seen anything about it yet, had a great time again this year, thanks StrayKatKustoms! Very nice to meet you! Maybe the attendence was down a little due to threat of rain or whatever, but still a lot of very cool cars!
Hey Packrat it was nice to finally get to meet ya. The rain did hurt us because we had some major rain all around us but it did not rain in Lamar. God is good!!! Still we had 129 Kustoms and Hot Rods show up and I'm hear to tell ya Kustoms are alive and well. I have a lot more to say and more pictures to show here is a sneak peak.... My favorite kustoms at the show was this Chevy Coupe form Joplin. Look out for it this summer. More later.... Happy Trails, Mick
Hot Rods at the Krawl. Ron Myers was busy all weekend sling'n paint. Don't tell him but the guy gots the skills....... more later.... Happy Trails, Mick
After this years Krawl I have an urge to build a utilty truck. No I'm not looking for a real job. Just trying to be kool.......... Happy Trails, Mick
Good pics. I'll have mine up in a day or so. I like to get them all labeled before upload them and send them out. It was a great day.
I never get tired of looking at Mercs.... Ralph and Nancy Schindel own the Black Merc with the Packard tail lights. One of the koolest guys that I know. They just got back from Wisc. to the Rockabilly blowout thing. Go back up there next week and then head to Florida. Yes, they are driving the Merc. KOOL!!! Happy Trails, Mick
my 56 made it's maiden voyage up there the day before (for the cruise after work at Fast Eddies, which was a blast) I was glad that it made the 32 mile drive each way both days....at 4,000 rpm!!! couldn't have asked for better weather. i thought it was a great turnout! (plus its cool to see half of my car in one of those pics...haha ) great pics, i LOVED that chevy coupe....and it's damn loud train horn!
Actually, the Chevy is from the Springfield area (Willard to be exact). Pretty cool car if you ask me! He's also got a BAD A$$ 50 chevy pickup that will spank most street cars in the 1/4. Cool show once again Mick. You need to get one going around Springfield sometime! LOL!
Actually Lamar is only what, 60 or 70 miles from Springfield? All the Springfield folks just need to make the drive and make this show even better!
I finally have my pics posted! Life has been busy. Here are a few, about 150 more at http://www.cl***icdragsters.com/v/Krawl+2007/ I want to know why so many interiors are awful? Some had great traditional looking upholstery, but newer dashes, or they left a ton of **** inside the car making the pictures worthless. This 27 Studebaker was my favorite. A HAMB tag I really like the chop on this one. East Coast style custom, and it's a Packard too!
Just wanted to say its nice to see these pics. Im originally from Joplin, and it was my father and uncle building these type of cars in the garage out back that continues to influence me today. Hope you guys get a better turn out next year. If my trucks up for it it will make a great reason to go visit my family.....................
Next year We are going to have to move the show because we are out growing the area that we are allowed to have. We are looking at an area closer to Springfield and even a Kooler location. I cannot wait to announce the change. Hopefully we will have the details worked out soon. It was Kool to finally meet the guy behind the camera. I had a good time telling guys you were with Rodders Journal.. Thanks for posting the pics, The '27 Stude was one of the koolest Hot Rods at the show. When it cruised in, we all stopped and watched it make its grand entrance. Happy Trails, Mick
