All: Some shots from today (Sat) , I was there from 8am to noon,, Plenty of good stuff to see, there were Long Roofs, and Short Roofs, and No Roofs.. There were Long Beds and Short Beds, and of course, NO beds...There were Big Cars and Little Cars..and some things I don't think were cars? and of course, who can forget the Rain... Nice bunch of Bikes showed durring the day.. Good Bands, Kool movies inside, nice vendors..good folk all around.. All in All and good day.. Great pix. Despite the weather it was a great show. LOTS of familiar faces too. The bands were all very good, lots of great mix of cars and KB Cookout gave me a great deal on the tail lights I needed for Ava's car. I'm still pissed that I wasn't selected for the pinup contest. I've got a great rack.
Good pics Bill. where was the pear salsa? Did i sleep thru it at the theatre watching Space Invaders??? Great show by the Road Rockets once again , cant wait till next year. Traditional hot rods rods, cool bands, great people (friends) and even a theatre in the hotel showing old drive in movies etc. ( great place to nap when the rain hit). The friday evening parking lot get together could be better than the actual show?
GMC...By the looks of the Parking Lot..It looked like a blast... We'll do a batch a Pear Salsa..Next Bubba Gathering I can get too... Glad eveyone likes it...We could of used some heat Sat.. Thanks for the pictures. The wife and I were there as spectators walking in the rain and taking pictures. We were loving every minute of it! Saw a lot of "cool" people and uniquely engineered rods. I felt there were more cars there this year than last year? If I ever get my "T" bucket running right I'll be a participant in this show. IMHO it's a better show than some of the other local car shows. The participants don't seem so "uptight "and "trophy crazy".

Scoob... did you have a tent sent up? your NAPA, tent man.... not the one you pitched at the pinup contest! I was there for a couple of hours Friday and didn't see anything NAPA related. Did see the pinup contest though... that one Kentucky gal was robbed!
A killer show as always. The Road Rockets are a first cl*** bunch. There are few clubs/shows out there that can compare with these guys. Thanks for the kind words, UnionvilleHaunt and Bus-ter. Haunt, you'll be happy to know that I may have a 428CJ in the works, as my Chevy mill gave up the ghost on the ride home.
-The kick azz thing was, that nobody seemed to let the showers get them down. I didn't hear anyone *****'n about getting wet, or hauling rear for the nearest carport... it was just taken in stride. Fantastic effort as usual, and as G***er said-they're a "first cl*** bunch"!!
