This was too cool not to post. Jacob is driving and Blaine is riding and singing "Burning Ring of Fire" (her favorite song). Jake is my grandson (Lindross Son) and Blaine is 29 Sedan mans kid. Start them early and they will grow.. Check out the red hair and tattoo, how cool can that be???
Does anybody want to take a guess as why my car was hard to start when I left. I looked over at one time and you could see the linkage on all 3 carbs going just as fast as a little foot could pump it! Cool pictures thanks for posting them guys!
I just thought of something, In this picture Jake is in focus and Blaney is not. I see allot of pictures of her like this. I think she cannot sit still long enough for the camera to focus. Tell Jake to rest easy, Blaney is not coming to the cinematic. I'm gonna get the little turd for flooding my car though!
Yeah and I chewed hit but for that too. He knows NO switch touching and NO pedal pushing. Sure smelled rich when you took off.
Great pics! To keep your flooded engine in perspective at how much worse it could be, I remember being about 6 or 7 years old pouring dirt down the carb on my Dad's Model A banger he had sitting out. I saw him pouring stuff in it, too.... didn't quite realize there's a difference between dirt and gas as far as engines were concerned. But I also wanted to strongly echo what you're saying - start 'em young and they grow up just right!
Dont worry about it Scott! He probably just did it to get back at me because he is mad Blaney is always trying to kiss him! Isn't it funny how we hate it at their age and then cant get enough of it later. If he only knew. I just thought of something, Keep your boy away from my daughter!!!
Well, he keeps trying to run away but she keeps catching him. Must be that irresistible Linder charm.
great post jim. its a good thing it wasn`t joseph(ralphie..haha) sitting in there. he knows how bad i want tracys car....
Somebody has to keep this sport alive when us old timers are gone and they look like the perfect two to do it. cool pic
Django... What booth? I missed it.. saw Kansas and his lady... sorry i missed you... Sorry Mike couldn't make it.
Uh... the one next to my '36. I was selling magazines, tshirts and header flanges from the shop. We were directly across the parking lot from Kansas. I didn't get to see a whole lot of the cars. But I was right next to FatRat's '39 and his Dad's '46... two killer coupes.
I dont know, I have never been to the Pile Up, but would like to. I will have to wait and see what is going on when that time comes.
i took djangos dad over to check out tracys car. you guys were less than 50 feet away from each other....
