as of 5:50pm today, Im officially a grandpap! Didnt think Id be given that name at the young age of 43.......but then again do kids ever listen to their parents?!?!?!?!? LOL oh well momma and baby doing great, 5lbs 6oz, 10 toes, 8 fingers and 2 thumbs!

Congrats, but I got you beat!! at: me 39 and my wife 38 we had our first grandkid, and just 6 months ago #2!! NOT RAINING ON YOUR PARADE AT ALL!!!!! Congratulations. I didn't make it to "Grand-daddy-dom" ( I just read that somewhere) until I was 56 and it has been the best four years of my life. I have 3 now and I try to spoil them all.
Grand kids are a lot more fun then kids are, you can spoil them and send them back home, then mom & dad have to deal with them.

Congratulations, there is nothing like being a grandpa....... My first when I was 44, have 3 "garage monkeys" now (11, 10, 7) and it has been some of the best fun of my life. They will "sneak" into the garage when I am working on the roadster and sit in my Ford TT for hours with out making a sound, pretending they are going somewhere..... Enjoy, because damn they grow fast........'22

Congratulations! The best days of your life are just beginning, hopefuly they live near you. I have one daughter and 3 grand kids. The oldest (6) is a mechanical genious. He's attracted to anything mechanical, he loves "How's it Made", Myth Busters, Dirty Jobs and there's not a word he can't read or understand. He loves to get on my other creeper and go under my truck to ask me what every part is and what it does... Sorry for bragging but just wait, you'll do the same. It's a love like you've never known.
