thinking about a set of scallops on the 53 any one out there wanna give me some ideas

thinkin white scallops with a baby blue pinstriped outline

the first pic is a pic that the previous owner sent me when we were negotiaing the deal

and second pic is its current state of being but i dont think it is square enough for a good photoshop

so if you do photoshop 1st pic instead of 2nd pic please add the wheels in current state so it helps with the idea process

id appreciate it and thanks in advance

    anyone interested in some help

  3. Just a note to help some of us out. If you are resizing them smaller, make them around 600-750 width. Start with a larger pic and shoot the side that has sunlight on it. Shadows are much harder to work with than decently lit areas..

Here is a quickie before I hit the hay..

Doesnt sound like too many people like my ideas though.. :) Still here it is.

ok lets see if these two pics can get us on the right track

1st i like the way that DirtyT Space Herpie's scallops were done with the exception of the way the bottom lick runs at an upwards angle, im thinking more of a straight out lick.

2nd I also like the way that this Darker Green car's scallops follow the complete arch of the fender well in the front.

Also thinkin id like something along the same designs as the front scallops on the rear fenders too.

dunno just some thought and thanks for the help

and ill try my best to get the 53 cleaned up a lil here in awhile and get a better/bigger side view shot (its been raining here damm near everyday since fathers day and i been driving it in it so it f'in filthy)

    GaryC.

I think a pair of larger, more sweeping scallops would bring out the body contours better. Possibly a very light blue, almost white, faded to a medium blue. Pinstripe the top side in white and the bottom side of the scallop in Navy Blue.

    GaryC.

    nice ride!

Sorry bud, too lazy to photochop yours, but check this out.
I'd have done the fat ones on the roof different, and you wouldn't have to scallop the sides like this. I don't think scallops all over is too much...
