Thought you guys might like to see some pics of my one-of-none '65 Belvedere "Super Stock" wagon. Just finished it August last year. Engine is a built 440 done up to look like a racier, Super Stock version of the 426 street wedge.

Mopar longroof Super Stocker - why aren't there more of them? I love your car. Of course, being a Mopar nut, I guess that's a natural feeling.

It shares the same body as the 64, so it's not too new.

Now, that is just sexy. Love them Mopars! :D

I'm with all the others, that is gorgeous. It would probably be the only one surviving and on the road. Of course being a Mopar fan I am biased. You've done an excellent job with that longroof. Congrats.

I considered it, but by 1965 most of the Super Stockers had abandoned that setup. It was a look more common in the early 60's.

Did this car come out of Boise Idaho?

  15. Yeah, but it looks tough, and you can always crank it back down. Maybe toggle back and forth every few months just to mix it up? Looks tough now though, no doubt

    I like it.....

I have a buddy with a 65 (not a long roof) and, I think 64 that he is really being particular about making it like a factory super stock (I think that's what they are called....)

The superstock Mopes came from the factory with cut-outs and a cross-over pipe. There's a reason they dominated the Stock classes!

  21. Me likee. Love the '62-65 B-body super stock mopars. I got a soft spot for the longroofs...like my AMC Concord wagon that is super un-stock. Kiddie haulers and grocery getters like the factory never imagined!

    L O V E it ...

here is one with History .. Jerry Stein won Div2 championship
    and # 3 in world in 78

It has been in my family since 91 ..My nephew has it now
I think he might just make a pass in it this year again !

  28. Muy Bueno! 62 - 65 MoPars are true classics. Not a lot of people realize that the serious racers went to thier local Dodge/Plymouth Dealer to get an off the shelf strip monster.

    Great job.
