Is anyone in contact with Bubba from Whitties white walls. I ordered a set of tires from him a month ago and have yet to receive my tires. He was in contact with me and let me know he was backed up and I would have them last week. I still don't have my tires and he is no longer answering my emails and I know he has read them. If anybody knows him and could have him contact me I would appreciate it. I am sure he is busy and I should be getting my tires shortly.
Any one?? Any one? Bueller? I was looking forward to dealing with this guy as well, but if he's not good on his word, or at least communicating when there's a scheduling problem, screw it. I could wipe my ass with a $20 and be happier with the results.
That's what I get for trying to save a few dollars. The guy was super cool at first and was really helpful. Until he got my money!!!! At this point now I am pretty certain I have been ripped off. At least I paid through Paypal and I can dispute and try and get a refund.

That stinks. It's wierd how some people would rather have you think they are a thief than admit they are running behind schedule or that they screwed up. Eitherway, file with Paypal and you'll either get his attention or get the ball rolling toward resolution.
How backed up could he be? How many people could possibly be having their tires painted? He did have a nifty little setup when I saw him at Paso though.
He got backed up from his initial date and that was cool because he sent me an email and let me know. Then when his second date came around and still no tires he stopped emailing me back. I have been sending him messages through Myspace and it tells you when they have read your messages, so I know he is reading them and just not responding. I already filed a complaint through Paypal, but that can take up to 90 days. Sucks I am out 250 bones and still no new tires.
i was just informed by my cousin that him and bubba share shop together in visalia. at the moment he is up in the mountains at a meditation retreat of some sort and is due back within the week.
Meditation retreat with myspace, huh?? He just approved me as a friend last night. What a crock....If he has time to get on myspace, he has time to make good on his word, or at least reply to a message. Fuck that!
He finally got back with me last night. He said he was backed up. He says he is going to refund my money. Will see.
hey everyone found out this thread was going on so I thought I would reply to it to let everyone know what was going on. I am not trying to defend my self because in reality there is no excuse. But as I told Bob I just got bigger than I antisipated and I have been travelling alot too. And yes as cheezy as it may sound I was on a reatreat this last week,. and was out of touch. But when I got back back form travelling doing tires I was not on e-mail either so I had alot to reply to and had to leave the next day for the retreat. so I did not get to everyone. I am a one man band and it is hard to make everyone happy. I admit to you all that I could have been in better communication, and am getting a secretary to do all the correspondence, as I just focus on the work. this way i will never be out of contact no matter how busy I get. I did not know that it was going to be this big and I appreciate all your inquries and biz and I am sorry to all. I thought I could do it all myself, but turns out I can't. I am very sorry and I will resolve it. I deserve all the shit slinging that comes my way. at least thanx for reading and any comments good or bad or suggestions to make Whitie's better is very welcome. Bubba

Are these the tires they cut the whitewall in? Then paint the cut? Whitey is a stand up guy for admitting his downfalls and returning the mans money,plus giving him the tires. Top notch I think. Haed work and honesty like that,he'll make it. good luck
Thats a negative on the tires. Whitie wrote that big spill about making things right and then didn't stand by his word. He said he was going to send the tires he had already made for me for shipping costs only. That was on the 27th of June as of today he still hadn't even shipped the tires. I am just bummed because I paid for tires on the 24th of May and now it is July 5th and I still have no tires. On the bright side he did refund my money today via Paypal. Buyer beware I would not recommend doing business with this company!!!!!!
Without getting into to much shit slinging. I offered him the tires for free all he had to do was pay the shipping before I sent them. He refused to do so after repeated tries. He Only wanted to pay once the tires were with him. I can understand that to a point but he had his money back. and I would be out $250, a set of tires, time and shipping till he decides he wants to pay for the shipping. I was not comfortable with that. So after 4 times of trying to get him to pay before I sent and him refusing I just refunded the money and called the deal off. As far as I am concerned I did make it right and tried to go beyond making it right by loosing money. I am sorry for my mistake in the first place and I am sorry we could not come to an agreement for the free tires but what can I do? I have even informed one person watching this go down on here. That because of the outcome if he wants to back out of the deal he has with me now becuause he thinks I am unfair, then he can do so as well. I am not trying to rip anyone off. I have explained my problem before and that has been solved by having a secretary. I will never be out of contact again and you will know ahead of time how long it will be till I get your tires to you. Bubba .
I guess that's one story. You had my money the whole time you never refunded me any money until after you called the deal off. I don't understand how you were worried about losing money. You had my money for 6 weeks. I still don't have it. It is a pending status on Paypal so I don't have access to it until they verify funds. I am done with this. I feel even negative publicity is publicity at this point. You are by no means in the right on this. If you have people on your side it is because you are telling them half of the stories. I could cut and paste the email chain on here and make you look terrible, but I won't Good luck I am done close this thread ASAP.
if you know anything about paypal they took the money from me already once you placed the dispute so i was out it already. they would have kept it till solved. anyway i am sure we could go on for ever and anyone could cut and paste emails to say anything. the reality is I fucked up and in the end we could not come to and agreement case closed I am done as well.
I'm sure this could have been communicated somewhere along the way. Fuck it. I'll buy from Coker. Seems like they always have their shit together.

Stay away from this guy he ripped off my buddy too, I wish I would have done a search on here for him before he ordered any tires from this thief. Says he sent the tires has no tracking number etc etc.
