Got a lot done the past 2 weeks. It went from a driving stocker to this. Last week I gutted it, then last weekend I set up the new front suspension, this week, I cut out the X member and boxed the frame, and added a couple new body mounts. Tonight I got the firewall cut out and the engine tacked up in it's approximate position. headers, radiator, steering should not be a big problem, but man trying to get 3 pedals crammed in there is going to be a chore!Lots of fire wall and floor fabbing to do as the engine and ****** are set back pretty far, I'll be sitting approximately between where the stock front and rear seats were. rearend is at Mosers getting narrowed and I plan to get the rear hung after GoodGuys DesMoines. Ladder bars and coil overs. Then the real fun begins trying to get all the little stuff working. i guess a project like this seperates the men from the boys, I just hope I'm man enough. Later, Rusty
Not much chance for the 37 this year, but I'm sure next year shouldn't be a problem. I kinda got burnt out on the A delivery project and ended out doing some trading with it for this Willys. Which a 37/38 Willys sedan is what I have wanted for years. UUgly little bugers! I'll most likely have my O'l faithfull A RPU at the drags this year. I probably won't race as it is just a little V6. I may take my 41 Willys and run it, but it's kind of street roddy. See you guys at the drags!!! Rusty.
Rusty, The 37 is looking, let me see if I can find the right words. BAD ***!!! Are you going to make it downtown this weekend? I am going to have my ride there finally. Keith
