    surf monkey: Thanks!
leadsledolds: I use mostly Copic Markers and my colored pencils are nowadays Prismacolor Verithins. I bought them (pencils) from NY couple months ago since they don't sell them in Finland. Some airbrush also in above picture without masking.

Last week I posted the start of one of the paintings I was working on.
I had bee trying to get itdone for last weeks show but got too busy. This week I had time to work on it.
Here is what I showed last week for the start of the painting, just the sketch
and some white and brown thrown on to get the feel of where I wanted
to go with it. This photo got a bit deformed. The final shown is more accurate.

This was one of those paintings again that gave me a bit of trouble but
it worked out in the end. Yes the windshield was left on purpose.
It is supposed to be a last run taken before heading home from the lakes.
I hope you like it. Finished on Tuesday. 12 X 36 Acrylics.

This is the photoshopped mockup -- it's at the screenprinter's now.

Great show so far, I want to put on something that I last worked on in '97. Since I been contributing to the art show, its got me in the mood to finish this thing. Next time you see it , it might be in color or get a lot more ink. It's just a typical fantasy bonneville scene, with Divco wheels, hemi and halibrands. Sometimes I "F" things up when I decide to use color thats why I have left like it is till now. Enjoy.:D

  21. The Jade Grenade is awesome and that clock is great!
I've been busy the last couple of weeks so I finally have some new stuff to contribute.
First is a '67 beetle. The only instruction I got from the female owner was she wanted it to be "bad *** but still girly"

Did a little lettering at a local show on the weekend. I'm very new to lettering so go easy!

Added some flames to my fenders too.

This might be only interesting to me, but here is a old letter from Pat Ganahl telling me why this drawing wouldn't reduce in size without losing detail. This may have been about the last time I tried to get stuff in magazines.
Pat would always write me back and bend over backwards to help me. I treasure these letters, even this rejection letter of sorts. I always have been drawing these Barris syle 41-48 Fords, I love them.
I always tell people I've been rejected by the best.

Damb! I wish I had gotten back a letter telling me why the art I sent in got rejected. Would have liked the feedback. (Some did get printed in a reject issue though).

    Thanks for sharring that!

    I like your stuff.
