Premier Frame and Body and the Rattlers Car Club are hosting our annual 4th of July Hot Rod BBQ. Premier Frame and Body 3029 W. Clarendon Phoenix AZ 85017 (Clarendon & 31st Ave, two blocks south of Indian School Rd.) July 4th Starts @ 8:00AM to ? We'll have the grill fired up and you can help yourself to the meat provided in the fridge (burgers, dogs, brats, ribs, etc.) and cook for yourself. Just bring your machine, yourself and some drinks (water, sodas, beer, whte lightning etc.). Extra beer is always appreciated (hint: we like Miller High Life, official beer of the Rattlers). We will also have live music from crazy Aussie band Wild Turkey. This is "the" place to be for any Phoenix hot rodder on the 4th of July. Hop in your heap, come on down and don't be shy, pull into the yard and park, we all want to get a good look at everyone's machines (hard to do if you're parked out on the street). I'd also like to let ya'll know that ALL ARE WELCOME.
I'll be there, probably bring Greggski. No Mo-sheen to bring, I'm sporting the Honda these days. I'll bring some Miller, take that ANYDAY over BUTT-LITE.
Yeah, 'cept I won't see the green until mid July. Far from running yet, my next one is sitting at the house though, OH BOY! Now if it would only cool down to a manageable 95 or so!!
I'll be in SoCal.... LOL Usually your in SoCal Mike... Gonna take the kids over for some sand and surf. May even stay for the Hootananny. Sounds like its an all ages show. Have fun at Howards shop.
I'll be there with my 49 Chevy, these guys put on a great BBQ & the best cars in town always show up. See ya there

Always cool to see Don's roadster. I spaced out the whole deal. Gregg calls me that morning, had to work.
Thanks for sharing the photos! Nice whether as always, here in Sweden its been raining for 2 weeks now. Nice to see Jerrys truck on the road again, does someone have some info about the T coupe? Lars
Hey ya Spike, thanks for posting the pictures. As usual, we all had a blast at this gig, I hope eveyone who showed up did too. Lotsa bitchin' machines, great people, beer, good chow and a really good surf band, the Del Vamps ( they had me twistin' and stompin' in 110 degree heat! ). Our thanks to all who showed up and dealt with the heat. Mike
Hi ya Lars, we missed having you here for this one. As for the Model T Coupe, that car belongs to Judy Smith, wife of long time Phoenix hotrodder Dick Smith (Dick's high school car, black, hemi powered Duece highboy roadster sits in the Henry Ford Museum as an example of a hot rod). They originally built the T back in the early '60s. It is powered by a flathead V8, has juice brakes, has a hand made grill shell and hand made cowl light turnsignals, plus lots of other neat modifications that I can't think of right now. They got the car back on the road about 6 monts ago after about a 20 year slumber. I love that machine, it's one of my favorites.
I need to talk to Frank & Howard about having a BBQ/SHOW when it is cool...like October or any of the months between then and May. It is way too hot in Phoenix in July to BBQ anything but your butt. Give my best to Howard & Frank. Ernest McIntyre, editor GASSER Magazine
