awesome post! you guys should all be proud all beautiful rides now if i could find my before pics of my 58f100 i would post them i know the are on this computer somewhere
i don't have any before pics. of the engine. it was missing some paint, had stock valve covers, a single 2 barrel, and an oil bath air cleaner when i got it. i still have the stock parts.
This post always feels good, like I'm actually accomplishing something... I went to fire the engine this week, and discovered that the shop that assembled the block left a plug out of the oil galley -- the easy-to-get-to plug, up behind the flywheel. I'll tackle 'er this weekend.
Here are some of my '60 F-100. I keep a little photo album in the glovebox. As found: I traded it for a pound of bacon in 2003. (I was almost 17) Vermont snow was not kind to her ... Fixed it up bone stock with my dad. Look how shiny it was. The paint dulled up pretty quick though. Now I'm working on making a traditional custom out of it. I'm real hot to lower it but I'm still working on the funds. I know, lots of pictures ... but this truck is my first car so I'm real attached to it.
