Right after the Road Rocket Rumble here in indy, I took my Buick into Tom Culbertsons shop. He made me an offer I couldnt refuse. I installed the rear airride myself but was a little aprehensive about baggin the front. Tom said I could bring my car in, he would look over my shoulder and give advice (he did the welding...I really ****).

It really wasnt all that difficult, but without his help I dont think i ever would have got it done......

    Thanks Tom!

Looks good. I have a 59 and I want to bag it. I have a set of the shock-bag combos. I can;t remember what they are called. My 59 rides about that low in the rear as is. I made mine an open drive, changed springs and 4 linked it. I would like to see a pictures of the a-arm area with the wheels off if you could. Hows it ride now? That's a good looking buick. TP

The rear was easy. Just took out the springs, welded up some spacers, ran the lines, etc.

The front took a little more work (but not that much). We didnt even break open the ball joints. We cut out the springs and installed the bags & cups while they were compressed.

If you have a set of shockwaves, the front will be very easy. Relocating the shocks was kinda a pain in the ***.

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them up.

The car rides better in my opinion. not as soft and doesnt fall over into corners the way it used to.

BTW, I bought the universal airride kit that HAMBer Kustombuilder has been selling in the cl***ified section. It is a nice kit. Tech support was good when I had questions.

I always wanted to put that set-up on the car, but was too apprehensive, or should I say too lazy to do it. Looks great.

always happy to help out a HAMBer. i never put 2 and 2 together and figured out it was THAT car you were baggin. LOL i've always loved that car. wished i coulda bought it from Joe when he sold it but it was outa my price range. it's even my color!!
Tom is a super guy. he was VERY gracious with ****o and I at the Road Rockets Rumble and even stuck ****o right up front at the pinup contest to get some good shots of the honeys!!:D

enjoy yer new bags and let me know if ya have any troubles... i'm baggin my 60 Olds before too long. it needs a 4 link though since it has leaves in the back. gotta sell a couple more bag kits so i can afford the 4 link. LOL
