Plenty of them were at the Hot Rod Reunion in Columbus a few weeks ago and probably getting ready for the Rock and Race at Dragway 42 this week.

Thanks Petejoe for the plug but the date for the Rock & Race is July 20, 21 & 22. I hope to see you and lots of other HAMBers there.

  6. Right on MR Luckydevil.I hope your not going to be posting pictures of scantily clad women from this event?

  7. thanks for the pics Gary. My father retired from the Lordstown plant a few years back. He was hired the year that plant opened. I remember going on plant tours with the school, cub scouts, etc and getting so excited when I saw my Dad on the line. With one or two exceptions, he's owned every car that plant produced.

Cool, My dad too kinda. Worked building the plant setting steel and
heavy equipment operator. Took a lotta pride bringing that monster
out of the ground. My fathers gone 10 yrs. now but I still have the
yardstick from an open house dated Oct 18-21,1966 Chevrolet-
Fisher Body Lordtown. Yep,they misspelled Lordstown...Anyway,
it makes me think of him and wonder how this yardstick never
got broken over my backside. Musta been special.
