howdy

i finally stripped my totalled 64 chevy pickup. the banged up shell is sitting on a twisted frame w/ some junk wheels & tires. is there anybody out there that wants to tow it away for s**** or something? is there a company that does that? i live in los angeles and am eager to get it out of the driveway so i can get back to wrenchin' on my 54. thanks for y'all's help.

I Drive a wrecker in Iowa, but we have similar situations happen to us. sometimes if you call a tow company they will take it for nothing and keep the s**** money. I've done this with numerous cars in the past year or 2. Just give a couple different tow companies and see if any will do this for you.

 

Check your cl***ifieds...there's ALWAYS guys there that say they'll haul away your junk vehicles.

Or hell, the way it's been posted on here by guys in Cali, the Smog and DMV Nazis are always quick to tow vehicles...park it in the street with no license plates and call the cops complaining about a junk vehicle parked on your street. Probably be gone in half an hour.

The city will tow it for free, a friend of mine had the same problem. I dont know what it is but he said there is a 800 number that they came and took it out of his driveway. No Charge, you might want to check in to it.

Take it to Hugo Neuproller on Terminal Island. The price of s**** is really high right now. It'll come right back as a Chinese product. Then you can buy it with the money you make.
