well, I have been relatively sucessful at my first attempt at recessing 49 Kaiser tail lights into the rear fenders of my 55 F-100, well one side anyway, I'll be starting the passenger side fender tonight what do you folks think?

I like it. There are too few things that are unique in the world of the 53-56 F-100. This looks like a reasonably good fit physically and aesthetically. Let me say it again, I like it.

Thanks, this is my first "mainstream" project, I am used to messing with mostly AMC and Hudson where pretty much everything is at least somewhat off the beaten path if not unique.

The Kaiser assemblies are a little large but with some trimming of the housings and widening of the fender I think they'll be decent.

I also plan on dropping the truck 4 to 5 inches which will make the big chrome housings seem lower

Nice! Looks very cool to me. Can you post a wider shot of the fender on the truck. I'd like to see more of your truck.
