I had a slight delivery damage (UooPS) with a piece from Speedway. Emailed back and forth and had it ironed out, the part would be OK. Two days later I got a call, the service rep had seen our email and wanted to make sure I was happy. Asked me point blank "do you want me to have a new one sent out?" Gave me his contact info and told me to get back to him if I decided I wasn't satisfied. I have seen posts before about their good service and I can only agree. CHAZ
I have always had good dealings with them. They seem to be one of those company's that understand how customer service is supposed to work. Some of their products are just cheap **** though.
I've never seen these guys before. What is the name of the store and do you have their website addy? Would like to check it out. Thanks.
if you don't have a speedway catalog ....you need one.....actually one of all of their catalogs....lots of parts that crossover from dirt to hot rods.... brandon
I have to agree. One of my first dealing with them was ordering some parts on the web about a year ago. The following day I got a phone call from a customer service rep that wanted to tell me that they were back ordered on the stainless parts I ordered and if I wanted the chrome version or wanted to wait. It took me a second to figure out who the guy was. I was shocked. They have been great to deal with!
Awright, thanks. I've heard them mentioned here a couple of times so I figured I better investigate further. That kind of customer service is getting harder to come by!
Just had a delightful young lady in Customer Service take care of an issue with my order. I have never had problems or complaints with them that wasn't handled very prefessionally and I have been buying from Speedway for more years than I care to remember. As far as sub-quality parts are concerned, if you are curious, just ask the sales rep, they will tell you straight and upfront. Damn, now I sound like a commercial. It's just hard to get good CS from a large company any more so when I do I like to sing their praises. the ****ster
I have always had great service from them as well. I had a UPS guy help himself to some of my parts, and they sent out replacements overnight to me. Two thumbs way up!
All I know is they emailed me to see if I would donate my motor to their museum. When I said no, but mentioned a number that I would accept, they paid it. That's good service.
Speedy Bill is a cl*** guy and his company reflects it. I've bought circle track parts from Speedy for 30+ years and the product has always exceeded my expectations. I've used their customer service line a total of once after a bunch of purchases and my problem was corrected NOW by a pleasant voice.. I wish that I could say that about certain eastern race parts companies. Jan
On a negetive side I've had a lot of trouble with wrong parts, missing parts ect, probably 1 out of 4 orders. I guess with the volume they must ship in a day mistakes happen. On the plus side the customer service is IMHO the best in the buisness, they never questain a problem, never any BS, they just get it taken care of asap.
I wish I could say the same - ordered a part after specific questions on bearings- they were wrong; got to pay shipping both ways. Have not ordered from them again, but may.
I have always had good luck in dealing with them If something is wrong they will make it right. I know a couple of guys that are friends with Speedy Bill and he is quite a nice guy and he even makes some of those call to customers someting you do not find in a company that makes around 14-15 million a year in sales. If your ever in lincolon stop and see his musem man it is worth the trip.
