Went to the yard today. Here is what I got.

Two rochester 1bl carbs off about 1950 chevy trucks. I will use these for the carbs for my dual carb setup when I do it. Both are manual choke. $10 each.

Gl*** bowl fuel pump. Though I'd get it to add another wierd "wtf" thing to my car. Will get a rebuild kit for it tomarow, and clean it up real good before I put it on the car. $4.

This is some kind of wierd ignition control box. I found it on the ground. Anyone have any info? It was $4, at the very least it'll look cool.

I also got 6 horns off Cadillac Fleetwood Broughams. Reason? Freaken loud.

Why did I want this many?

My contour wasn't getting the respect it deserved ;)

I also got a new saddleblanket seat cover for my truck, which I drove to the yard. I mean BRAND NEW. Someone bought it, then junked their truck. Their loss = my score.

I wonder if you could add turn signal flashers into a few of the horn wirings to get pulse blasts out of them.

I've got one just like it in my garage. I think it's off my old '40 Chevy pickup I sold a while back. It's in a pile with a few other items waiting to be picked up.

Dont have an intake yet, I'll probably just take the easy way out and buy a new offy intake, mainly because the linkage quality wont help because I already had to make custom linkage for the single carb.

  8. That Heathkit stuff was available at Radio Shack, I think. Kits to build all kinds of stuff, nowadays we have to be content with ready made ****! Man,,,,,,,,,, those were the days!
