These are a set of 521 Mopar BB heads I've worked up that came with my 60 383 lowdeck I'm building. The rockers are not the ones that came with the engine-those were stamped steel w/alum stands. I bought these off a guy who didn't know what they were, other than that they fit a Mopar. They are not Crane/MP's; I have a set of those. I don't think they are Isky's either. It boils down to either Max Wedge or Mopar industrial. Can anyone tell me definitively which? Or are they something else that I'm unaware of? Thanks in advance.

  2. My ISKY's have a hardened insert at the valve stem end and say ISKY right on them.

I thought the factory adjustables had interference-fit threads at the adjustment screw instead of a locknut...

    Harland Sharp?

Yeah, they're not Isky's-no hardened tip and no name. Just E6268M on each rocker. And the adjusters are not interference fit; they're just like the Cranes. Harland Sharps? That's a new one on me-when did they make those? I suspect that they're industrial-I'd just like to know for sure. Thanks!

Cool!! They came off a boat! Thanks a bunch-I've had this posted on some high-end mopar boards, and nobody came up with that, but it stands to reason, with the "M" suffix. Thanks agaqin!;)

  8. Only if the shafts are installed wrong on the heads (oil grooves not in right position)...

These were really dirty and a bit rusty, but cleaned up easily; even the adjusters were free. Obviously hadn't been used in years. Very little wear. They're destined to run with a domed piston and a stout solid cam.
