The daytona thing is right after Turkey Day. Garlits's Museum in Ocala is great. causes Hemi overload!
Hell yeah, come on over Daytona Turkey Rod run.....in Daytona Speedway Thanksgiving thursday to sunday, and in great weather. i can finally meet you..oh yeah and the 41.. by the way any new updates???

Thanks guys Bryan
Hi Bryan, that "turkey thing" is huge. Make sure you plan on hitting that. Hope you can make it back over this way again too. Enjoyed meeting you last time. Oh yeah, for sure make time to go to Garlits' place. It's unbelievable. Mike
There will be lots of things to see, paint drying, fingernails growing, weeds sprouting, turtles moving, but seriously as boring as Florida is the Turkey Run is always a hoot, albeit heavily policed by the golfcart militia. I'd like to meet you.
yea i got busy last time i was down and didnt get a chance to call ya but well for sure get together this time.
Turkey run like everyone says.... But one thing you DON'T want to miss is the Don Garlits museum in Ocala. It's not too far from Orlando, and I guarantee that it is the best museum in the nation....
Been on my event list for the last 10 years. Great weather, rides, people, and not the very least the SWAP MEET. I always leave some hard earned cash in Daytona each year. Biggest drawback is if you have to return home on Sunday. My normal 12 hour drive north turns into a 18 hour trip due to the traffic. Makes my decision to stay a couple extra days easy.
check out www.daytonabeachcarshows.com the turkey run is about 5,000 cars, 4,000 swap meet spaces. i drove my 57 wagon down there a few yrs ago and it's a great show. also try www.turkeyrun.com
yea we went by garlits place last time on the way home but they didnt open for like 2 hours so we decided just to head on our way. you know how it is when your just ready to be home. but this time we will make sure we go.
Oh man, it doesn't matter how long you have to wait, you gotta go to the museum. To me, it's like heaven. Every trip I take anywhere near Florida I make sure I go. Been there a bunch of times and every time it's like the first time.
