Looking for some casing widths on 16" tires for my 8" wide Americans. These wheels were bought for an open wheel project but I would like to try them on my 54. The largest tires that I managed to squeeze on the back of it were my Hurst cheaters based on 235 casings on 7" wheels. If I can make something fit, it would allow me to try the look on this car..................if not, no biggie.
I have 255/70 - 16's Yokohama Avid ST to fit 7 inch rims but they will fit 6 to 8 inch. they are and SUV tire but have a neat street pattern with 4 cir***ferential grooves like the old school farm implement tires.
