Howdy everybody. Well, I'm new here. I'm here to learn and have fun. I'm a late bloomer to wrenchin' although I've always wanted to. My grandfather was a mechanic at a Chevy dealership for almost 30 years. I was a guitar player and spent my growing up years building guitars. Didn't want to mess up my hands (hence "my career") working on cars. Later in life after I'd pretty much done most of what I wanted musically I ended up meeting friends who were gearheads. I listened to them tell stories of working on cars with their dads and grandfathers and really felt that I missed some good memories with my own. So I decided I was going to build a car and build memories with my own kids. I've got a '49 Chev Business Coup that is more project than I'm skilled for, but I got a lotta friends to help and teach me and I've got a '50 Chev Styleline DeLuxe 4-door Sedan as a daily driving project and family cruiser. Both of them are being built as I get the time and money. It's been a great experience and I look forward to getting more out of it here. Thanks!
