New Dysfunctional Mechanics Show Tonite: American Body Shop on Comedy Central Channel. On at 9:30PM Central .
Will have to wait to see just how dysfunctional they are.

 

Is this suppose to be what Reno 911 is to cop shows?

 

The pilot episode is available on iTunes, I downloaded it yesterday...Its FUNNY AS F*CK!!

 

I think so. Looks stupid but funny.

 

my buddy owns the shop in chandler az that shot the pilot a few years ago, and supplied all the equipment seen on the show.The shop is a real body/custom shop that is called Drew Brothers Customs,you'll see their logos DBC on the show shirts and stuff.I'm pretty pumped for them,dont know how good the shows going to be but still pretty cool to see a close friend you've knowin for a long time get some press.

 

that show looks like it could have a chance, about time someone calls out the lame *** tv shows. plus i dont think jokes about having spare parts after a job ever lose their luster.

 

Yeah, I watched it on my Xbox a couple of days ago. If you like Reno 9-1-1, you'll really like this show.

 

It's like a car repair shop-related cross between "Reno-911" and "The Office".

Also has a slight bit of MTV's "Pimp My Ride" and Speed's "Unique Whips" thrown in there too.

A definite middle finger to car-type reality shows if I ever saw one. It was funny.

Worth seeing. At least once. Then you decide.

i love reno 911 and so do all of my friends but all of the said it wasnt all that great. guess i have to see it for myself.

 

Actually... it sux... I hope episode 2 is better. Tired jokes and bits....

 

I thought it was funny as hell!!!! I had to stop it and rewind a little cause I missed a line I because I was laughing. Yeah, a lot of cliche stuff, but by far the best programing on lately.

 

Sort of a parody of American Hot Rod and some of the other hot rodding build-a-car shows. They got it pretty close, too. Not very funny, though. Maybe because it's too close to the actual reality show....

 

Sure beats a lot of of junk that's on... I enjoyed it.

 

It Was Funny Enought To Keep Atching But Not Funny Enough To Rave About..... I Hope It Gets Better Cause If This Is All They Got Then It Won't Last To Long.

 

I thought it was good,better than alot of **** on tv.

 

I thought it was a decent show. Reno911 is a lot funnier but this show has it's laugh's, I liked the end when they all caught on fire.

 

Parts of it was funny but, seems like it was off key somehow. I ended up losing interest and turning the channel. It won't last long, very weak. Just when you think something is funny, it turns to just plain stupid.

 

Boyd's still funnier, and they aren't even trying. I caught part of it, and thought it was a big let down, pretty lame really. I'll give it another shot, hope it improves a LOT since it could be really funny. Right now it doesn't even come close to Reno imho.
