car insurance.what are you guys using??

i need to get the coupe insured. and i was wondering what the best is as far as not having to lie that is a "hotrod" and im only 18...........thanks

 

if you do a search of the board, there is a thread about 4 pages long on this same subject. General consensus was State Farm, Grundy and Hagerty were a**** the best choices, but your age will limit you somewhat. It does help to have a late model daily insured with someone, too.

 

Grundy - great guys, but you're too young kiddo and you don't have a daily driver. sorry.

 

As mentioned, the typical minimum age is 25 for collector car insurance. It can not be a daily driver. You need a lockable storage space (garage) to prevent theft.

Your best bet might be State Farm, with the provision that you have a daily driver, and it wouldn't hurt if both were insured with them.
