Playing With A New Camera

    Here are some shots of my car with a new camera been playing with. These are right from the camera then scanned. They are sort of different

    Yea it is a Holga, $20.00 all plastic. Although it has been modified, aperture, light leaks, and stuff fixed. They use 120 medium format film those were with Kodak bw400cn. The pix of my daughter's were with the stock lens, the car pix were with home made wide angle lens. You don't view through the lens it has a viewfinder that sort of gets you close. So when I added the wide angle deal I was just trying to guess.
    What makes a good camera crap is what make these great. I'm sure I could have done it with Photoshop but this is more fun.

    Just noticed the side view has a line through the bottom of the car all the way across the pic. That is not on the print it must have come from the scanner.

    Cool pics, Holga's are fun :) and can produce some great shots.

    Holgas are great. They do a great job of training the eye to see what it needs to see to produce a nicely composed shot. They also teach you not to trust a plastic toy to produce a quality shot without black electrical tape. lol

    thanks for looking at my site. If i get a chance this week i plan on updating it with some newer stuff

    what a wierd coincidence,,,,,a lady stopped at my shop today and asked if she could take a picture of the old mobil flying horse sign at my shop,,,we got talking and she said she had a "holga" camera,,she went on to tell me that they are only like $30, and take really cool and different pictures,,,,this happened just a few hours ago,,,i had never heard of that particular camera until then,,,then o come home and log onto the hamb,,and what do i see???......wierd,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
