The front fenders are stock steel welded together. It will tilt or you can remove it. There is a guy in Missouri who makes a 1 piece front end with a sperate hood. I`ll have to find his number ,I`ve got some where. G***erman

Here is a very famous Falcon that was built around 1972-1973 orignally and named "Tarantula". The photo enclosed was how it was in 1977 when it won just about every ISCA award that year. Car had a tunnel rammed 289 and suspension was fully chromed. I have some pics of this car when it was shown at my local civic center in 1977. That show was the very first indoor show I went to and this car to this day has influenced me to like that '70's style of build- lot's of chrome, tunnel rams, big and little Cragars and psychedhlic (sic) paint

The car was a early 70's "streetfreak" versus a g***er.

god, how those early falcons bring back some fond memories -that shot with the "holes" in the front splash pan is great, i always thought they looked meaner with the front bumper off - my high school car was a '61 2 door sedan - 144CI/auto - green metallic with the interior out of a 67 GTO bought from a boneyard - 13" 4 lug chrome reverse wheels - first p*** at Raceway Park 22 seconds - after the addition of a 260/2v/c4/8" rear- dropped to high13's/low 14"s- there were couple that ran at RP, built with I beams, that ran in either modified production, gas or altered cl***es - always aspired to that - maybe for my next car!

Nice ride. Love them old Falcons & Rancheros. Here's a pic of a Ranchero model I did a few years ago. Brad

zimm- yeah im interstest to see how it drives too.. something i dont think Roadkiller mentioned is we moved the axle forward 1 1/2". it helped a little too when it came to rear hanger/shackle placement. i really dig how its lookin'. you can really see it in this pic..

lil update.. for ROADKILLER...he's at work so i went out and snapped a few... floors are almost done, still needs some seam sealer, got the headers mocked up and tacked together...the old pipe on headers is an old set we cut up for more bends..its not as bad as it looks in the pics...still need to make block off plates too..unless anybody knows where to get some for 3.5" collectors

I've been watchin too. Here's some pics of a 63 I helped build
about 8 yrs. ago. 10.5 car with a windsor based small block, and NO2.
A laughing g***er if you will.:D Best p*** Iirc was about 8.60 @ 160 mph. Fun car, toward the end it was 60 footing with the rear tires
(no wheelie bars). Sold it about 3 yrs. ago RTR and it still sits locally,
hasn't been to the track since.

The car is looking great , I love your fenderwell headers. I hope to get my car together for next year. I`m replacing the front unibody. It`s just too used up to put the axle under it. G***erman
