The Absence of 1929 Nash`s.....

    ....can be explained by the fact that theres a train full at the bottom of Lake Michigan......


    Anyone else see that on the History Channel tonight?

    Back in the 70s, Old Cars Weekly newspaper did a story on the new 29 nashes in the great lakes. I used to get that paper and a pic was on the front page of two that were hoisted up, a coupe & a sedan.

    They salvaged those two because the divers said the "cars looked in good shape and the chrome lights were still shiny".

    After hauling them up, they were all rotted and you could stick your finger through the sheetmetal.

    I don't recall the train car bit, I thought they were carried on the deck of a ship.

    I did see the pic of the ones that came up, so some of it is true.
