Hi to all. I am a newbie to H.A.M.B. but not to the hobby. Have been doing the car thing for 40 plus years and still enjoy it. Current rides are a 36 Dodge pick up street rod and a 59 Ford f-100 with a late 50's/early 60's look. Current project is a 55 Plymouth Suburban which will look stock but run a 340/727 combination with other mechanical upgrades. It should be on the road by mid-summer 07. My son (chop50chevy) and I work on our projects together when time allows and we do some events together such as Goodguys Hershey and the Syracuse Nats. We do most of our own work out of my garage. My local club is the Chemung Valley Street Rods and I am also a member of NSRA and GoodGuys. I have seen a lot come and go in the hobby and like the "return" of traditinal rods and customs. I believe that there is room in the hobby for all but I prefer wide white walls to 20" billet wheels!!!
