I checked coker and diamondbacks websites with no luck. I'd prefer bias plys and looking for big and littles.

diamondback will make them in double or triple but they only do radials. it's a custom order thing with them i believe or at least it used to be. i don't know of anyone who has them in bias. probably got a good search on your hands there...ken....

i had been looking for a set for about 5 years for a project i just let go, with no luck. diamondback will do the radials, but i never found them in the bias ply, except for a rotted pair I have on an old brush hog mower. they almost hold air!

Sure doubles are cool, but have you ever seen triple stripe bias plys? I saved a set from a customer's car - parked since the 60's. I forget the brand. These are pretty big, like 8.50-15 I think...Must have been expensive back in the day - all the cars I've seen them on were big luxo barges, Cad's and Packards mostly.

search for how to make your own wide whites by shaving narrow whitewalls...I expect you could make a double stripe the same way....

I scored a set of originals awhile back that were never mounted...Somebody posted a pic on a older thread about 'supreme rims' that had some made at like a $145 a pop and i could have sworn it was Diamondback that did them as a kustom order...It was a mild kustom Dodge in the pic..

I had a set made at DBTires, but I think if you would supply the biasply-tire's yourself DiamondBack should be able to make any amount of stripes on them you like.

Ya, try diamond backs, they will work with you. When I did my wagon, I did not like the tires they used, so I went and found the brand and style and they ordered them and put the large whitewall on them (I wanted a more sedate car tire that had a closer bias look, not the agressive treads most companies do today)

    Hey Clark

You may want to call Coker. Their 2007 catalog list B.F. Goodrich 900-15 (29.59" Overall Dia) and J78-15 (28.72 Overall Dia.) bias plys with dual stripes on page 15. Don't know what ya would run on the front though.

I've got TRIPLE whites on the back of my roadster... I'd hate to try and find more of them...

    Clark,
You might PM Jimmy White from Circle City Hotrods. I saw the black "A" coupe had them on the front and see where he found them. I think that I saw the pix of the coupe in the Asphalt/Strangers car show pix.
