Dammit, I thought that this was gonna be a good one... When I glanced at the thread title I read "Nad's Cooters" Hey nads, you got any of those cooter's lying around? HC
I will race Nads Vespa anytime, anyplace with my 56 Lambretta 150.. "hey is that your mommas scooter!"
Oh you know it, here is the fire breathing monster itself...hmmm wonder what it would do on nitromethane???
fuck yeah , I'll race at hamb drags !!! I'll bring my VNB 210 in the back of my truck.. and incase you guy havent seen it SIP sells nos kits for p200 motors. + = Ian
nothings illegal if the cops dont care/ cant see it that whole assembly fits under stock bodywork and can be activated by innocuous stock looking switches 40hp doesnt sound like much , but I can lift my scooter by myself ian
That NOS kit is crazy. I have a few scooters. The only one that is roadworthy right now is a ratty P200. I just blew up the exhaust case on that, though, so it's parked again. I also have, as total projects: '59 Lambretta Series 1 '63 Vespa GL150 '63 Vespa Allstate '79 Vespa PX150 (engine donor for one of the other bikes) Lambretta chopper project and lots of extra junk
that NOS looks absolutely frightening. All that torque on 10 in wheels has to be a blast. I am rding my p125 stocker and it seems pretty exciting... 40hp must be insane.
Although I hate to admit it publicly, I have a couple scooters. Well, I have a big pile of parts that hopefully will be a couple scooters one day. I think I've finally got everything I need for one of them. But my scooters are at least Harleys! That's right, Harley made a scooter called the Topper from late '59-'65. They're supposed to be relatively quick too...2 stroke 165cc engine & 50mph, but we'll see. One day.

does that mean it's like the rest of them, slow and ill handling? actually scooters handle better than most anything because of the small tires and short rake, and if you think 100kph stock and 140 kph tuned is slow you can take mine for a ride on some back roads. Ian

My Vespa has a blown big block chevy...turns a 3 sec quarter mile...but the gas mileage is gonna put me in the poor house.
