man,,,did i fuck up today,,,i got off a lil early today and thought i would try rubbing out the paint to give it that vintage paintjob look to it,,(i was experimenting with a single stage alkalied enamel semi-gloss paint),,i started on the roof and took some 1500,then 2000 then 3000 trizact...got it lookin real smooth,,then went to hand rub it to give it a worn look,,all it did was totally screw up the finish,,man i was so sure it would work as ive done this on other paints before,,, its just totally streaked/stained like the way it would look if you decided to wax black primer,,,looks like shit....

to add to my bad news,,,glass shop doesnt want to mess with my windshield,,so i will try the sandblast method....

,,,and found out last night that my brother (the tattoo artist one),well he's been wanting a 30's-50's driver for a while,,well he brought home a flat black 50 chevy this weekend,,,its kinda like Argh,,,but i know its not his fault, but just when i was going to give "non shinny black" a try again since there arent any other non shinny black chevys in my town,,,another one pops up in here,,hahahhaa,

Dude, I like the car, chop looks great. Im getting close to getting the body work done on my car and am going to squirt it flat black. I have gloss black wheels and skinny whites on it, no trim, welded hood too. nice to have an idea of what it will look like before I paint it. Killer car!
