I went to that show last year and was not real impressed.I hope it was better this year. I plan on going to Goodguys in Madison ...... PAUL
Yes ... what he said ... Certainly some NON HAMB friendly stuff there ... but I appreciate you posting the photos you took ...
Met this guy at the hotel and he built and had owned this car since 1965 and has over 165,000 miles on it...! Still a strong runner!!!
Mark...that car belongs to Tom LaBansky... 5-6 years ago that he wanted to trade his coupe with me for the '46 coupe I had...at the time I didn't want to do it...sometimes I kick myself for not making the deal. He's a real cool guy.
I love that car, and several others. I did expect more to be there and there wasn't as much cars that I prefer with a more traditional look to them. I am not a fan of old 80's and 90's billet wheels and flashy two tone paint jobs... Solid colors, flames, metallics, flats... ANyway I DID enjoy the show there were some REALLY nice peopl there that I talked with. I will be going to Good Guys as well in Madison since well... I live in Madison.
Bob K. ...that was the Best Western Waukesha Grand, Tom, his sidekick Gary and I stay there every year, it's a nice place. A couple other friends stay there also and cook out every Fri/Sat evening off their tailgates,...we had Alaskan Cod and roast pork,...Yummy. Tom Labansky is one of the nicest , down to earth guys you'd ever meet.,..as is his buddy Gary and their wives. ...Lookin for you guys at Madison Goodguys... Wingnutz made my day when he rolled into our motel Fri. evening, I got to help him fix one of the baffles on his cool roadster.
Thanks for your help and the parts... Had a great time with you and the whole gang...! And the the pork was great!!!!
rab71...... thanks for the great pic's. I own the black modified "T" you took pic's of. I plan on being at GG Madison....see you there. Dennis
Yes sir that is a beatiful machine! I hope I run into you (not physically) at Good Guys, I'd love to chat about your car, and you could probably give me some advice on my 26T roadster.
