Help needed 46 flathead fuel pump

    How does the the pin that holds in the pump arm stay in? Do you stake it in? any help would be great thanks!!

    Yes (I guess that's the word) stake it in with a center punch

    The rocker arm pin in a flathead fuel pump is installed in a press fit condition. If your rocker arm pin is loose then it is the wrong pin or the body of the pump is damaged and should be replaced. If you need emergency repairs yes, tightening the edges with a punch or staking will hold in an emergency.
