Relay from Columbus OHIO area to....

i dropped the ball big time. i was pickin up a T5 trans from Fowl's mom's place near Columbus and was gonna bring it to Hot Rod Ch***is and Cycle for Kevin in a couple weeks. i got so wrapped up in the show and what not that i completely forgot till i was nearly all the way home.

if we can get it to within an hour or two of me in the next week or so i'll pick it up and get it the rest of the way to Chicago for Kevin. i feel responsible cause i did'nt do what i said i was going to. sorry Kevin. i'm gonna try to get it still.

if we can get it to Detroit or Flint Michigan (or in that area) or near Ft. Wayne Indiana or somewhere north of there that would be great. i'm not far from Lansing Michigan. i can drive to meet somebody some afternoon. it'll fit in the trunk of a car. it's not a big trans.

or if you can get it all the way to Chi-town that would be great too.

What T5 is it? I've got one I'm not using right now that you might be able to sub. It is a NWC from a 2.8L with electric speedo.

Otherwise, if anybody is coming close to Toledo, I can try to pick it up and get it to Mike.

 

that would be great Dan. have to ask HOTRODCH***IS (Kevin) what the trans is. i have'nt got a clue. i was just the guy who said i'd pick it up and then forgot.

If anyone from Columbus is coming to the Rock & Race this weekend bring the trans. There will be a ton of people from Mich & Chicago at the show. I'm sure we can get it relayed from there.

well im about 45 minutes east of ft. wayne, if someone can get it to the toledo'ish area 43543 i can get it to dan who then can ship a lil' further north or i can take it to ft. wayne if that helps

 

oh yeah i need a front sump oil pan for a 302 anyone have one on this journey of ours?

 

I can pick it up here in C-bus and run it up towards Toledo early this Saturday. Let me know where to go get it, and I'll need to know who/where to meet.

Django is going to Rock&Race as the Hucksters are playing. If one of you guys can get it to the Rock&Race he or Hellfish could bring it right to the shop.

Nope. The Rock & Race in West Salem, Ohio.

 

I'm picking it up here in Columbus. I can drop it in West Salem, or at Dan's in Blissfield. West Salem is more attractive being about an hour closer...

You guys let me know where to drop it and who to give it to. If there's a secret handshake to verify iden***y, or some sort of birthmark or whatever...

 

just take her to Dan. that'll be the best thing to do. i can get it from him pretty easy. i may or may not be going to Bloomington this wekeend afterall. it's up in the air at the moment but either way i should be going to Chicago in a week and a half.

 

If ya need I can get it from Dan and get it to the Jackson area REAL easy.. I work at Jim Winter Buick on the north side of town and can drive a bit north if needed!!

 

i'll keep that in mind and see if and when Dan can make it to my place.

Don't have your number on my phone Brad but it should be at my place on Saturday morning. Macronan, if you are bringing it up, what time? I'm off to fetch a hay wagon in the morning but should be home after that. I can work around you. If it is easier to do West Salem, I understand. Get with Mike and Hellfish and we'll get it sorted out. I think it needs to be at HRCC in the end anyway...

 

Dan, if you bring it to my place before Monday morning 7am, OldBobSign can take it back to Chicago with him.

 

Looks like it'd be best if Macronan just takes the trans to Rock & Race and gets with Hellfish or Django.

Mike's working 11s and we're having trouble hooking up on our end before next weekend when he's going to Chi town.

 

I'm picking up the trans tonight. I'll give Django a call when I get to Rock and Race.
