I don't currently have an old school hot rod but damn sure have an appreciation for them. I've had a few muscle cars (the kind with carburators, not that new stuff). I like old school craftsmanship and I was raised around a shop. My father is not into the Internet but he has a '36 Ford with a 429, a '40 Ford Pickup, and a '41 Ford pickup. Oh yea, he taught me how to respect my elders and listen to people that know what they are talking about so I should be o.k. here. As for my future hot rod plans...I wouldn't mind have an old Ford F1 that's been chopped, dropped, and warmed over a bit. Just as soon as I get my kids through college I might have an dime or two to do that. Right now I'm content to lurk and learn. Steve
