I'm bringin myself, maybe a friend or two, beer and a camera. I sure wish I could bring my 63 F100 or my Modified project. The F100 is close but probably not close enough, it might make it though. The modified is a pile of parts.
It may not be as slow as you think. I remember a modified at my local dirt track that ran a slant six in the early 1970's. He did pretty well, could almost match the SBCs. The longer stroke made good torque off the corners.
I'm ordering the wiring harness for my Poncho today, so I should finally have the Blue Whale at the track! Just my 4th HAMB drags, it's about time I bring my car the whole 12 miles.
