It has been a long time coming. I have been laying low trying to creatively pay bills without losing my SOUL. Then out of the blue I start looking through the Asphalt Invitational photos and spot the 57 g***er. Well if that picture was not INSPIRATION! So into illustrator it goes for some quick line work. Fixed the body by turning it into a WAGON and gave it some fenderwell headers.

WALLAH! The art for my newest poster. These however will be 18" x 24"! I had a new little ****** follow me home last week and am ready for going big with the prints! I have transfered the art to my linoleum and started cutting last night.

One month till the drags! That is where they wll debuet in a limited signed quan***y. I need to relook throught the Asphalt Invitational photos but to the photographer you will have a complementary one on hold for you.

Here's a detail for another picture I'm working on in color. (The final should include a HAMB friendly car.)

Here's one more quick sketch. The Chevy was inspired by a comercial on the Speed channel and the original is a thumbnail sketch about 7" scribbled on scratch paper( just like first posts only they're a bit larger.)

    I call it "WHAT-A DRAG!!!"

Killer show guys...zombie...I bow to you as always!!

Just finished these....been playing with chalk on canvas and found a technique of building layers by using clear lacquer between each stage then a final sealer coat...

once again ...incredible work everyone, you guys all rock!

we'll ...I got sent a 000 striping brush from oldbobsign and got some cool tips from TBonez here on the hamb (thanks guys) and here's my first attempt at striping. The one thing i found out and learned was that "oneshot" doesn't work very well on wood and it bleeds, if it's not sealed:(
I have to give it up to all you stripers out there, this stuff is not easy and super difficult to do. This is gonna take awhile before i get it!

This other piece is a art collaboration that just got sent back to me with another artist named Johnny Rodriguez who is a very amazing and talented painter, check out that helmet!

Nice job with the striping Cab. I learned that lesson myself on my first striping on raw wood.

It will be much easier on a smooth surface.

If it still bleeds,it might be because you are
using too much Reducer,or adding too much Penetrol.
