I am starting a Ford V860 project and I am having trouble locating parts resources other than Egge, Mac's and Speedway. I would also love to be able to talk to some experienced builders. There has to be some out there with the thousands of them ran in midgets, I just need help finding them. Thanks in advance. Brad

What kind of project are you working on? Outside of finding a few parts listed on E-vil Bay, which usually go for high prices, the next best bet is to try contacting Early Ford Parts, in Memphis, TN. at 901-323-2179. They used to have a huge list of NOS and reconditioned V8-60 components. I haven't been in contact with them for about three years, so I'm not sure if they are still in the business. Their prices were very reasonable at the time I got some stuff from them. Another source is Vintage Auto Parts at 1-800-426-5911 ( www.vapinc.com/fordv860speed/main.html). Good luck with the search. Try the Fordbarn Street Rod Forum at http://www.fordbarn.com/streetrodder/webbbs_config.pl? Probably some good expertise there.
Yes, Early Ford Parts is still in business. Unfortunately, Dan p***ed away last summer. Now his son Mike is in running the place. Prices are still very reasonable.
