my neighbor came over and told me the cops found his car!
turns out the guy who stole it was a former neighbor of his who had moved away, but still dropped in (probably to case the joint  ) every now and then.
turns out the guy got caught for robbing banks, and when they searched his house & property the found the model "A" inside a stolen trailer!

That's awesome Yorg. Congrats to your neighbor.
Hopefully the car is still in good shape.

    Evel read my mind;
Too bad they didn't find Thunderrod in the trailer too.

Awesome news George ...eventually they all get caught:)

I don't see running over, chopping a body part off, shooting or killing anyone for stealing a car though by any means:(

It amazes me the at***udes on this board on how much hatred you guys carry around with you when someone pisses you off ...and it wasn't even your car!

What if this person was someone you knew, a friend, or even a close family member, say maybe your own son ...would you still feel the same way about his punishment?

Revenge is not the answer my friends.

It is actually.just remember the old saying.." revenge is a dish best eaten cold.."
I lost every thing I owned in 2000 when my home was stripped completely by 3 thieves. They took my trailer and with two vehicles they loaded every single thing in the house.
i lost my insurance because crooked cops ( related to the thieves) told lies to the loss adjustor.
I found the ID of the crooks and sued them in the civil courts and won..twice.it took 5 long years to get them and $10,000 in lawyers blood money .7 days after my second victory ,the Queensland police placed one of my cars on a stolen vehicle register..making it worthless.
One of the cnuts ( senior Qld police inspector) is pretty old and he knows i'm waiting for him to die so I can contest his will.;)
I know his family is ****ting themselves because of this..but i feel good about it,because, as I said I lost every damn thing and as a middleaged guy in OZ it's been damned hard starting all over again.
    Revenge is in actual fact..SWEET!

Hell yes!!! Come on Coupe-De-CAB, it's not like the guy is stealing bread to feed his sick kid. He dosn't need understanding and comp***ion, he needs to be punished.

Stealing is stealing and there's no justification for it:(

but, I do believe a long jail sentence, stripped away from all the freedoms from the world outside should be enough punishment for this person ...or maybe not?
It depends on the individual and how harden his heart has become, to learn and deal with the consequences of his actions.

and no ...i'm not taking a poll.

Let's all be happy that the car was found. Personally I not sure I could turn my other cheek De Cab. Some people only learn when something happens to them.
