Doc, you are amazing!!! I work at a Dupont jobber, when there is a need for some primer or paint I'll help all I can.

 

Way to help out Doc. Put my $50 towards getting it to the young rodder.

When this gets going make a parts list of what is needed ...I'll bet we can get everything it takes to put it together and get it all sent there. I'd be in for whatever parts I have that are needed. Doc you are awesome,thank you for being here and being such a generous person!

 

Doc, you have made Andy a very happy boy. He is on top of the world. You may be able to heal illness but you as well can heal the soul.

I personally hope you get the chace to meet Andy, he inspires everyone who meets him. And i am sure that you inspire everyone who meets you. I thank you for your generosity and kindness.


And to think most people look at hot rodders as trouble makers......well, lets not tell our secret

Some of us may never meet you but your strength and fight against this disease is truly remarkable and all of us are blessed to be able to call you our friend.

With prayer, a good attitude, and good friends you can beat this.

I think a cruise to the Hospital just might be a thing to do, Let us know where and maybe we can get a bunch of Ca. Hambers to park outside the windows. Hang in there Andy Soon this will all be a rear window blurr. Keep us posted.

I know I've posted before but I just read that this young man is only 12! Man, he is the same age I was when I lost my dad, also around the same age I was when the hot rod dream started! Thanks to you Doc for coming through on this, at least in these hard times ahead he will have something to look forward to: working on his own hot rod and when high school rolls around picking up chicks in it. You GO Andy! I'm sure I'll post many more times as I can relate closely to this youn man's situation.

 

Does anyone know what kind of engine Andy wants to run? BB? SB? Flathead? Ford, Chevy??

 

A Flathead, I think it was posted somewhere in this thread and in a picture with HambAndy standing beside it.

BTTT any news for Seattle dates?

 

Here is the latest on the dates, Andy will be in Washington on the 24th of Aug (i screwed up first date) And the first operation will be September 4th followed by 2 more operations. Each aprox a week apart. Then off to California for cyberknife............a date i will post as i know it.

The outpouring of kindnedd towards Andy has brought new life to this young man. A couple weeks ago there was no reason to get out of bed, but now...............he is out early and anxious to get this bastard tumor removed.............
