Does anyone know what these hubcaps came from? Could they be Corvair? They are 5 lug 14" hubcaps. Could they be aftermarket?
Thanks for any info. Please hurry my husband is at work.
    Thanks,
    Rita

Yes, those look like 64 or 65 Comet Cyclone Caps. I am sure he will KILL you if you sold those cheap, they are pretty hard to come by.

What's the deal here? ID the oldmans shit and throw it on ebay before he knows? Ship it while he is at work so he don't know its going out?

Yeah, I'm with Buckeye (GO BUCKS!)...is this for real? You're going through his stuff while he's at work and then throwing it on ebay without him knowing about it?

Seriously...if it's a family emergency and he can't do it himself, or he passed away and you're a widow trying to clean his stuff out and get a good price, tell us that and we'll BEND OVER BACKWARDS to help you out and make sure you're getting top dollar.
(and I may be overstepping my bounds here, but after what you wrote in the opening of this post, I'd like to see a little extra proof like a link to an obit or news story, or contact Ryan or the moderators and give them the full scoop).

If you're going through his stuff and he doesn't know about it--which is how your posts are sounding to us, then I refuse to participate in it, and I strongly encourage the other HAMBers to do the same. Like those wheel covers...I knew what they are (and if they're 15-inch, I don't think they're comet!), but didn't want to help you list them properly because it sounds a little shady to me. If you're going behind your hubby's back, I want that stuff on the market selling for pennies on the dollar, because it'll serve you right for getting nothing for them, and when he finds out what you've been doing--and tells you what they were REALLY worth.

I love my wife dearly...but if I found out she was going through my stuff and selling it, then keeping the money and not telling me about it, and lying when the conversations come up about "Now where the hell is that?! I KNOW I have one..." I'd consider it grounds for divorce. What's mine is hers and hers is mine, and when it comes to it I'll gladly sell what I've collected to do what's right for us...but if she did it behind my back, kept the money and lied to me, that's stealing, and damn skippy it'd put our union on the rocks.

Now hold on there, zman. I rather cook than clean the house. No, I take that back... I do like washing dishes after dinner, (and a whole bunch of hours in the garage I was doing before that, if you catch my drift as the gray matter lifts from my pores).
As far as the old lady pushing the parts out of the garage, she's been busy on Rustee's ebay account.
So, someone is running the petty cash at the house, (or poor Rustee's worldly goods are being given up, but the, "She met him in a bar books" By Sally Sleezebag, are still piling up next to the, "depleting" junk car parts, (if you catch my drift punching rusted body parts here and there).

I showered my females with love, attention, gifts, and made them happy to be around me. I just wanted someone else to play with me, and she all of a sudden said, it's the bucket of shitt out in the garage or me!

Like that took me how many seconds to answer back on that one? I still have my junk. The short story. Only way to keep your sanity in the garage is to dump the women. Too many women in the world. Very few Rembrandt paintings in garages, (if you catch my drift telling, my man, to sell his all aluminum pounded out 40 topless).

Well, Mr. Greg's Artwork, I'm simply reading the author's subject title to the thread... and I'm sticking to it like, zman over there in the corner of his garage typing away boldly.

Sounds like Rita is a thief, a liar or both.

  13. I'll tell you what anyone that would help someone peddle someone elses junk ( treasures?)is just as damned low as the person doing the selling. That just aint right. I don't care if that offends you or not.

Pork, none taken. It was more of the irony of someone telling someone else what to do with their life, when someone like myself respects the way you live your life. Why all of a sudden start telling me what to do when we just met. I mean, a female that is.
That is why I never married. Who are you to live my life? Bye-bye ladies. I do not want any part of your actions against my parts/hobby/lifestyle/etc.

So, if you understand it's how it is, pork, It is not my world to tell this person what to do with their morals. It is their business, not mine. I do not know the whole story, so I can mix, assumption to my experience with my hobby and my parts and my tools and all my worldly goods are not to be subjected to someones sheer will telling me what to do with my life or my parts.

Take a hike (if there is an, alleged female cashing in on the old man behind his back on HAMB?) is to your morals and my parts. Like all of a sudden I would open an account and begin asking what a, "Sally Sleezze Spreads Her Herpes in the Bar" book is valued at?

So Ole rustee never checks his email and ebay account? never notices the fees being added up of his past feedback and what items he sold? I'm not saying there's something fishy here, but damn.. maybe he should keep up with his stuff.

Sorry Guys and Gals for all the confusion about my wife selling behind my back. I asked her to check on the HAMB to find out what the Hubcaps are from. My memory is just not as good as it used to be. I listed it last night on EBAY before I went to bed and had to go to work the next day. It was bothering me that I knew on the tip of my nose what they were from, but for the life of me I just could not remember. (Too much aluminum welding I think). So I asked my lovely wife to ask my fellow Hambers to help me out. Sorry for the misleading comments. She was in a hurry to get my Grandson so the Mom could be at work on time. I was hoping for an answer when I got home from work and I do appreciate all the Info on them. The comments are funny and I am sure my wife will get a kick of of reading this when she gets home later this evening. Thanks again so much for all your help and for defending me while I was at work.
    Thanks!

No, that's Brad's wife's writing. She's on to us!!! (Brad, would you shut up!) Now look, Fiat saw the reflection in the, whatever he was looking at, because he said there were female ankles taking the photo.
I think you need to go back to the first page (Brad!! shusssh you'll give it away), and find her ankles and that throw away camera. She was in the comet or ask Fiat where the reflection of her finger was. He said it was on that, whoogeewhatsit as plain as day; as a Kodak crackling in it's own pre-wrapped package.

WOW Guys!! You Hamb guys sure do stick together! Now that I've finally quit laughing from all the bashing I got. Man you guys are sure ruff on Rustee's ol' lady! I love old cars and car parts just as much as the next guy. I'm probably just as bad as my husband when it comes collecting all the car parts we have around here. I'm not as bad as you think I am.
