Does anyone know what mixing ratios are used with the PPG DP epoxy primers? Do these use a hardener or is everything included in the reducer/catalyst? Thanks, Flattop
Ditto ^^^ You can always check PPG's tech sheets at PPG.com They'll give you mixing ratios, proper substrates, flash times, etc. Basically whatever you need. I printed out the ones I use the most and keep them in a binder with the rest of mine.
I hope you didn't shoot your car yet. The mix is 2 to 1 not 4 to one. 2:1:1/2 if you want to use it as a sealer. It needs a 30 min dwell time if you use the 401 catalyst. If you don't have a P sheet, you might want to look at the side of the can.
yes! http://www.ppg.com/cr-refinish/phase1/frmProductInfo.asp type what ever product you are using in the box to the left,,,all your online P sheets ,,print hem out,,share with a friend
I was able to get in touch with a PPG distributor who told me to go with the 2:1 ratio. I have had this stuff for about 4 years now and had long ago lost the tech sheet. I appreciate everyones' responding. Thanks, Flattop
is dp or dplf? the mix ratio is different. dplf is 2:1. the old dp is 1:1. If you want to use as asealer then you would mix dplf at 2:1:1, and dp at 1:1:1/2
you can still get DP in california??? thats wild,,,cant even get it here in kentucky and cali's regulations are the reason for dpLF (lead free)....
