Howza Bruthas- I recently dug these out of a really cool ol' timer's garage. He has a lot more stuff, but this is what I got for now. I beleive they are Ford pick up, say about '34-'37? Am I right on this?
Rim, lens, reflector same as '35 p***enger, bucket is smaller. Anybody have any spare '36 lenses and rimms?? I'm gonna puttem on a set of those to produce a nearly spherical headlight...
You guys mentioned in my ID thread that mine is probably 35/6 car lights and when comparing the buckets with Spooky's I can now see the difference in size you mention. The loose rim I got could possibly be truck as you thought but what matters to me is that it fits.
Kits are available to convert them to sealed beams. It was pretty common after sealed beams became the norm. I've sold several conversion kits on eBay that I picked up at swap meets.
Look very similar to my 35 Pickup, sealed beams or Halogen bulbs can be fitted, and best of all... red ones go faster.
