  3. Great rag....hard as F*()@! to find in Sacramento! I think it was Nads who suggested looking in the "alternative lifestyles" mag section at bookstores...never did find it there, but I got an offer to join the LPGA.

    AWESOME!

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. I guess when things get popular they are automatically lame... except for the small handful that were there first.

I sure hope no one ever builds a primer black car with red wheels...

  6. You know what makes me mad? No one ever mentions the key to Garage Magazine's success: quality girl-oiling.

I did'nt know Jesse owned Garage, but I'm glad to see that the mag has the backing to stay up.
When is the new one out cause' I can never find it at Wal-Mart?
I think I'm just getting beat out.

I'm not trying to sound like a nut-swinger but, I've heard alot of people give Jesse shit (not here, local haters) for seemingly nothing other than making money.
I gotta' give it up to you JJ. It's incredible what you've done for all of us bastards and the industry and hobby we support.
Don't hate the player, hate the game

Hey guys...they do have subscriptions that actually gets the magazine delivered right to your door....imagine that! No more searching at Wally world ...besides,when they figure out there's cuss words and half nekkid women in the rag they will stop carrying it anyway. Isn't that what happened to the Horse? They took out all the bad words and covered up all the women so they could be sold at Wal Mart....Fuck that! Besides, when you buy crap at WalMart you are just helping pay to build more factories in china so they can make more cheap crap to sell to us over here....so they can build more factories and sell us more crap...................then they can buy up all the steel, concrete and diesel to build that crap and it all screws us in the end.
    Sorry....rant over...logo kinda sucks though!!(haha sorry Ryan)

Is it possible for you to show me an example of
poor quality girl-oiling. Is it like if you miss a patch,
or perhaps get some in the poor gal's hair?
I'm not exactly sure what it takes to be a quality
girl-oiler but I'm willing to put in the long hours of
    apprenticeship.

  14. Wow. I was a subscriber from issue #2, up to issue #10.

I thought it was Stoners mag, now I see JJ's got it.

    Guess it's a good thing I didn't email Sireene with my CC#! :)

I'll slide down to WallyWorld and check it out, I'm sure I'll renew after that.

As far as I can tell, Garage is written in America, by Americans and printed in America.

As an American working in Mexico (yea, I'm the one guy taking advantage of NAFTA who isn't a millonare) that is probaly going to lose my job to China in the next few years, I'm glad to see someone out there putting something "made locally" in Wal-Mart.

I want to say I've seen it most of the times I go by Sacramento Vintage Ford and at least a couple of times at Barnes and Noble in Sunrise.

You must've been at a bookstore down in Lavender Heights to get an offer like that.

Yup –*the "lil something extra" is in every single issue of GARAGE #15! You'll dig it. And there's only two ways to get it: in a copy of the magazine or from Jesse, himself.

There's lots of great stuff in this issue, too: David Burge interviews Broadway Bob Metzler, Cole Foster interviews the one and only Bill Carter and there's some great stuff on the Didio family, the Notebooms and Dougie Poo From San Berdoo. And that's just a taste.

As always, Zenor oiled down the talent with the greatest of ease and Harvester Of Bondo drank all the leaners at the shop. Good times!
