I got down there kinda early and my wife and I brought a nephew who didn't dig the loud music at all. Needless to say, we weren't there for long. I was able to get some pix. Of course they're in black and white. I'm still getting used to this anti-auto focus camera.

I like the Riv in the picture, Had a close look at one a couple of weeks ago, really nice interior.

got to watch taking pics of that bold guy under the canopy, your camera may break . to say these guys are a wild bunch is an understatement. this was a mix between a rock concert, burn out contest, car and bike show. what a blast.






one of the wildest thing was when the 57 g***er tached it up to about 5k and dumped it. he blew the driveshaft apart, the wheels kicked around so much it smacked the 1/4s it was cool, but I felt bad for the guy. he seemed to take it good. I'm ready for next year already

not sure what time it was .Jim Leis had already left so it was after 5 I think. here's what was left of the driveshaft.

 

this car is wicked. I spent some time looking at the chop on the top. who ever did was a bad dude. one of the nicest chops I've seen

oh ya.... What took ya so long......now that you've figured how to post, maybe you can set the clock on your VCR.

BTW....For any of you guys looking for top notch ch***is work, Jerry is the man. I don't vouch for very many people either. He built my 32 frame and the work is stellar to say the least.

 

Looks like a lot of fun. I should have come down for the show and also to get my first ever tattoo. I wanted to have it before I went to the salt but I guess that isn't going to happen. Too bad it was the same weekend as the Rock and Race, maybe next year!

 

They are talking about making it an annual deal. I hope they do, it was a blast.

 

I too have one of his frames. NICE!
