What kind of mags are those, BTW? I remember seeing wheels similar to them 30 or more years ago but not since.

I'm gonna partly disagree... I agree that it's too low now, but I think it would look too high if it was brought up to be even with the cowl. You need a little bit of "hood rake" (even if you're not running a hood) to keep that mean/aggressive look on this particular car. (Just my 2¢.)

This is really turning out to be a killer car. I'm really diggin' seeing the progress. I'm 'flake green with envy.

    Absolutely fantastic!!

Post a pic of this on the steel vs gl*** whiners topic.

THIS IS A FRIGGIN HOT ROD!

  7. I agree. It's like the roof leans down, then straightens for the imaginary hood line. Probably not the best look for this car. I'd like it about 2 inches higher.

The engine, the paint, the height, man Groucho you got one bad rig there! Getting the 'hood line" right is a bit of a trick, but you'll get it, that's one sweet machine.:D

Groucho, that color is the ****! I'm thinking about painting my Triumph tins the same color & throw some scallops over it. You laid that paint on right? Any tricks?

  10. No, i don't paint. Although i will try it one day. Probably on my next G***er. A new kid in town, goes by Bondo shot it. I don't know if he had any "tricks", but he did paint the doors, and decklid seperate, and i hear that's not too easy.
