Heading to a 4th back surgery 2 level fusion.. Gonna be walking all screwed Up (6 stainless screws four rods) for a while, looking for a walking stick to represent the hot rod culture, can anybody help a brother out......Can return after rehab... Its a must needed Item.. Thanks in Advance..Ryan
i dont know if the one's at the ren faire's would appel to you, but i have seen several that would go good for a non pc car person. if i get down to silver leaf this i'll see what they got. i have a sword stick/cane if they did not mind you being armed. Trout
i gotta solid oak cane with a heavy ass brass knob about an inch and a half on the top that you could use for it if you'd like...as long as i get it back, it's one of my fav vintage pieces.
I used to use a Jack Nicklaus Sand Wedge upside down as a walking stick when my bad ankle gave me a bad time. The fatness of the club head made for a good grip. Right side up, the club was well respected by local dogs....
I was not sure I get any responce here....You guys are great...I'm running out of time I gotta come up with one soon....Thanks to those who offered I'll pm later to day with details......Thanks I'm real greatful
Buy a pice of round stock, put a couple of bends in it and add a shift knob of your choice. Then you could make shifting sounds as you pick up your pace. Just an idea.
Now were talking....I'm gettimg in to this, The Cam with a shift knob would be killer, that way I could change ouut the knob's , and it would be like I'm driving different cars lmfao....
I like COOTERS idea.. I'd try to find a stick of aluminum for the weight of it, maybe even put a little polish of it..then throw a shift knob on it like he said..Maybe one of those nice resin skull's that fella's on here were selling.. I think that would be pretty cool..and light weight so you won't create issue's with the back. Hell, you could even throw a HAMB 4-speed decal on it somewhere as well Tony
I'm digging the ideas.. I just gotta set some in motion, as I cannot do anything myself due to a recent procedure for the upcoming surgery. But If i do not get this together I have an old cane to use but would be glad to sport any HAMB, or hot rod shop decals on it if people wanna send me some.. I'll post pics if I get any....
Man that would be tit's... I gotta find one, more of a Need than a want, I'm gonna be on it for about 3 to 6 months, and having surgery on the 10th...
Thanks for all the killer Ideas....Anybody else got any, looks like I'm gonna have to employ some one to whip one up for me,,just tired of the geriatric, adjustable alum. piece I've been using....thanks guys
I Have Seen A Local Guy Using A Canoe Paddle And Now Its Worn Halfway Up The Blade.. He May Not Be Up A Creek But He Has The Paddle In Case Shitaround Him Does Get Deeper
i've got some new gm T handle shift handles from late model junk if someone feel like putting one on your walking stick as a comfortable handle.
I wonder if any of the drag racers around here have a few mangled aluminum connecting rods that could be welded together?
I will have to make a call to my old AHDRA Nitro team..thats a good one..With a nice comfy Handle.... man I see a marketing Idea for us crippled bastards who still wanna geat around.....(HHHMMMMM wheels turning, gears grinding, smoke coming from ears.....hhhhmmmmmmm).
How about eBay Old Water Well Pump Handle 40.5" long Item number: 290142354188 I saw a shifter made out of one and it looked very cool. 2cents
OH BUT I AM LAME(medically speaking).... Not a thing I guess, just been using the same old piece for several months now and I'm ready to step it up a notch...Just wanted a cool piece to use, while I recover....Thats all...
I got a couple sets of bones in the back yard...Gonna have to get my brother busy on something soon....
When I f/up'd my back I used a 7/8 o.d. radius rod off my race car, put a long bolt, with rubber hose for cushion, thru the heim for the handle and a cane tip on the other end. People at the rehab place thought it was pretty cool.
