i dont know if the one's at the ren faire's would appel to you, but i have seen several that would go good for a non pc car person. if i get down to silver leaf this i'll see what they got. i have a sword stick/cane if they did not mind you being armed. Trout

i gotta solid oak cane with a heavy ass brass knob about an inch and a half on the top that you could use for it if you'd like...as long as i get it back, it's one of my fav vintage pieces.

  4. I used to use a Jack Nicklaus Sand Wedge upside down as a walking stick when my bad ankle gave me a bad time.

The fatness of the club head made for a good grip.

Right side up, the club was well respected by local dogs....

Buy a pice of round stock, put a couple of bends in it and add a shift knob of your choice. Then you could make shifting sounds as you pick up your pace. Just an idea.

    I like COOTERS idea..
I'd try to find a stick of aluminum for the weight of it, maybe even put a little polish of it..then throw a shift knob on it like he said..Maybe one of those nice resin skull's that fella's on here were selling..
I think that would be pretty cool..and light weight so you won't create issue's with the back.
Hell, you could even throw a HAMB 4-speed decal on it somewhere as well :D

I'm digging the ideas.. I just gotta set some in motion, as I cannot do anything myself due to a recent procedure for the upcoming surgery. But If i do not get this together I have an old cane to use but would be glad to sport any HAMB, or hot rod shop decals on it if people wanna send me some.. I'll post pics if I get any....

I wonder if any of the drag racers around here have a few mangled aluminum connecting rods that could be welded together?

When I f/up'd my back I used a 7/8 o.d. radius rod off my race car, put a long bolt, with rubber hose for cushion, thru the heim for the handle and a cane tip on the other end. People at the rehab place thought it was pretty cool.

do a net search for the "bull stick" cane. It's made from, well, a bull's pecker.
